I was raised in northern and southeastern Wisconsin. I never had any intention of becoming a pastor but God had different ideas. I was working at a TV station in Moline, IL when God called me to be a pastor.
I received my B.A from Trinity University in Deerfield, IL and my M. Div from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN.
My wife Gail and I served as pastors in Minneapolis, MN, Independence, IA, Brasher, MO and Brooklyn Park, MN prior to my call to serve at St. John’s Church.
We have one adult son whose family consists of his partner Niki and two wonderful and energetic granddaughters.
My credentials are with the North Conference of The Evangelical Church from which I retired in 2016. We are enjoying our less hectic lifestyle in rural northern Minnesota.
